CSC released an announcement last November 19, 2019.
It stated that those registered examinees who did not attend August 4, 2019, Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) in Region VI may register and take the CSE on March 15, 2020, for free.
Several examinees from Region VI were not able to take the said exam due to severe weather conditions and the Guimaras Strait tragedy led to the suspension of maritime trips from Guimaras to Iloilo and vice versa. Without any declared suspension of August 4, 2019, CSE-PPT.
On December 16, 2019, to January 15, 2020, is the schedule given by the CSC for the affected examinees.
They are only accommodated for the same level of examination they were supposed to take last August 4, 2019. and they must personally submit the original of the I.D. card they presented during filing of the application for August 4, 2019, CSE-PPT, or any other accepted I.D. card which is preferably valid (not expired); or the original Application Receipt (with the original CSC Official Receipt, if available).
Besides, they will only be given one chance to take the examination free of charge. if they will be unable to take the March 15, 2020, CSE-PPT, their examination fee and the slot would be forfeited. No application for postponement or rescheduling will be considered.
